Parents

Do you have a child or a young person in your life who is suffering a loss that has affected their mental and emotional well-being? Are they suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem, or a lack of confidence? Are they shy, struggling to make and keep friends, and unhappy in themselves?

I am a mother and nana who feels that, if we give our children a safe place to air their worries and troubles, they will thrive.
I am also a trained counsellor who understands that providing a confidential listening ear, and opportunity to build a relationship outside of family and school in a caring, nourishing way, helps promote confidence and self-esteem. Rather than face the possibility of struggling through their childhood and teens, they, through talking and play-therapy, learn new ways to express themselves and become the balanced, joyful souls we would wish them to be.

I can provide a neutral safe space for your child to talk, I appreciate that often they may not wish to speak straight away, I will be there waiting for your children to talk in their own time.
I work from a person-centred approach, I do not judge or belittle your youngsters feelings, encouraging them instead, to trust their instincts and listen to their inner voice.
